Erasmus Milano is a is a non-profit and apolitical network for international students or for people wit a strong international aim, to meet each other in the biggest international community in Milan.
Erasmus Milano plans a variety of programs to enrich students' life. We enhance international understanding and friendship and also promote awareness and understanding of the international student community in Milan.
We use the word "Erasmus", because it is the most popular university exchange student program in Europe, but of course we are open to all International Students, whether Exchange, International Regular Students, Overseas, ISEP, IES or part of other programs. Born of experience and cooperation within ESN - International Exchange Erasmus Student Network (see below for more information on ESN - some ESN sections are part of Erasmus Milano), is the meeting place and crossroads for all those who have an international aim in Milan.
We are here to offer an easy landing in your Milanese adventure, to welcome you to Milan and here for you to develop international skills, have fun, meet new people, and enjoy your life in Milan and in Italy!!!

Erasmus Milano aims at concerning itself directly or indirectly with everything in connection with the above mentioned as broadly as possible.
Erasmus Milano aims at creating the conditions for better understanding of each other's cultures and national habits between students of different nationalities.
Erasmus Milano works without being associated with any political party or confessional grouping.
In order to pursue these goals during the academic semesters of every year, Erasmus Milano organizes tutoring, tandem program, cultural trips around Italy, guided visits to the most famous monument in Milan, cultural activities, a design competition, conferences and parties in various clubs.
But the first need on your arrival in Milan is to find an accommodation.
If your university doesn't provide you a place to stay, come to us, we'll help you for free! Milan is a complex city from this point of view, rents are generally quite expensive (especially for single rooms); it is important to carefully choose the area and looking for a house on the internet from your home country you may run into "swindles". But don't worry: here we are, to help you GRATIS :) Just come to one of our offices, where in addition to an introduction to the different areas/districts and prices, we will help you find the solution best suited to you.
The services and activities are granted completely by the volunteer work of a certain number of active members, mostly Italian students come back from an exchange program.

ESN is a non-profit, apolitical association of students. Its aim is to support the student exchange programs, supplying information and any kind of help that can be voluntarily given by its members. ESN is member of the Italian network, ESN Italia, and of the international one, ESN International, wich is a pan-European student organisation founded in Copenhagen in 1990. Since then, the network has expanded considerably. At the moment ESN consists of more than 253 sections in 33 countries. Despite its name, the network is devoted to students participating in all exchange programmes in Europe.
The official aims of ESN, as formulated in the Statutes, are:
ESN aims at working in the interest of exchange students in the field of higher education in Europe, by means of:
- Improvement of the social and practical integration of exchange students at their host institution.
- Representation of the needs and expectations of exchange students on the local, national and international level.
- Taking advantage of exchange students' experience by making them active in the network.
- Provision of relevant information about academic exchange programmes and ESN resources.
- Reintegration of home-coming students by making them active in the network.
