The Erasmus Student Network is a non-profit, apolitical association of students. Its aim is to support the student exchange programs, supplying information and any kind of help that can be voluntarily given by its members. ESN is member of the Italian network, ESN Italia, and of the international one, ESN International, wich is a pan-European student organisation founded in Copenhagen in 1990. Since then, the network has expanded considerably. At the moment ESN consists of more than 253 sections in 33 countries. Despite its name, the network is devoted to students participating in all exchange programmes in Europe.

The official aims of ESN, as formulated in the Statutes, are:

ESN aims at working in the interest of exchange students in the field of higher education in Europe, by means of:

Improvement of the social and practical integration of exchange students at their host institution.
Representation of the needs and expectations of exchange students on the local, national and international level.
Taking advantage of exchange students' experience by making them active in the network.
Provision of relevant information about academic exchange programmes and ESN resources.
Reintegration of home-coming students by making them active in the network.
Contribution to evaluation of different exchange programmes.

ESN aims at concerning itself directly or indirectly with everything in connection with the above mentioned as broadly as possible.

ESN aims at creating the conditions for better understanding of each other's cultures and national habits between students of different nationalities. ESN works without being associated with any political party or confessional grouping.

In order to pursue these goals during the academic semesters of every year, ESN organizes tutoring, tandem program, cultural trips around Italy, guided visits to the most famous monument in Milan, a design competition, conferences and parties in various clubs almost every day of the week.
The services and activities are granted completely by the volunteer work of a certain number of active members, mostly Italian students come back from an exchange program.

	Welcome New Students: Pick up, first orientation, University tour, city tour, Welcome Day, Welcome Dinner, Welcome Party, Welcome Week End...		Tutoring: we provide tutoring and buddy services to help you to choose the right course & the right Professor ;-)
	Housing Service: we'll help you to found an accomodation in Milan, through our contacts and experience		Party: ESN let you introduce you to the best party and clubs in Milan
	Trips in the beautifulst cities and places of Italy, like Rome, Venice, Florence, Neapeles, Sicily and many more		Culture:You will discover italian culture thought theatres, cinema exhibitions and museums
	Language Exchange Program: we bring you in contact with Italian students to improve your italian and make new friends		Become Milanese: meetings with italian student and foreign students, in dinners happy hours and around the city
	Job Service: Job finder , meetings with companies and help to translate tour curriculum in Italian		Snow Trips: Milan is close to incredible ski resorts on Alps: many snow trips during the year...surf the snow!
